Letting it go, letting it grow: How Shmitta Consciousness can Make Way for a Healthier Jewish Ecosystem

(Not Recorded)

This workshop is an exploration of how engaging the principles of Shmitta - release, restore, rebalance - can create the conditions for a healthy and thriving Jewish future. Through queering and questioning, we’ll open rich conversation, wonder together, engage embodied practice, and bounce back and forth, across time and space, as we weave story and song.

Kohenet Keshira haLev Fife is a Hebrew Priestess and a bi-racial, queer Jewish person who delights in serving as a prayer leader, a lifespiral ceremony and ritual creatrix, a teacher, a facilitator, a liturgist and a songstress.  She serves as Oreget Kehilah (Executive Director) of the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute, Founding Kohenet of Kesher Pittsburgh, and Program Director of the ALEPH Kesher Fellowship. She also enjoys working with Keshet and Beloved Builders, and serving on the board of Kavod v’Nichum.
