Misan Miso Samara
Saed Mansour is a Palestinian choreographer, dancer/performer, teacher and festival producer. He began his career as a choreographer in 2021 and has presented, among other things, at the 'Nefagshot' festival in Kfar Shalem, and the 'Naot M'a 'Baad' festival. Over these years, he also initiated various festivals and platforms and taught workshops in the country and around the world. In the spaces that Saed initiates and creates, he explores issues of community and identity, creating a connection between the performers and the audience, and through ceremonial and emotional processes that invite reflection on different identities, and the points of connection and separation between them. Saed tours every year to teach in Europe and the US intensive workshops. Current topics he teaches on tour are Fluid Movement and Dancing the Political - both are his artistic research, movement language, and physical research. He also teaches 3-6 month-long courses in Palestine in topics such as Contact Improvisation and Dance Improvisation for the local community. Among the festivals he produces/produced: Alqarya, Tajasud and Fusaifisaa. Communal-oriented festivals that bring together the Palestinian/Arab community through art and workshops.
Ayelet
Nur Garabli was born and educated in Ajami, Jaffa. She grew up with her mother Eman, her twin sister Yara and her grandmother Layla – three generations of Palestinian women sharing the same piece of land.
Garabli has a B.Ed. in dance and education from the School of Dance Arts, Kibbutzim College. She is the co-founder of the Taboo Group, a Palestinian women’s collective focusing on art and activism in the public space. She is also involved in the “Moving Together” project, together with the choreographer and dancer, Yasmeen Godder at her dance company studio in Jaffa, where she teaches Palestinian dabke & brings together women of all ages, communities, and cultures. Garabli has curated and functioned as the artistic director of the “Moving Together” festival in March 2022 together with Godder; she continues working to promote local art and culture within the Arab community. Nowadays Garabli works as a freelance Activist, choreographer, Dancer & Teacher. She practices contemporary Palestinian dabke and brings to this practice social, political, on-stage and off-stage expressions.
Nur Garabli
Misan Miso Samara born 1997 is a dancer, actress and emerging choreographer who grew up in the city of Tira Al Mothalath Occupied Palestine. Misan Miso started dancing and gave her first show at the age of 4 at Zeadim dance school directed by Adi Degani , trained with the teachers and choreographers Niv Marinberg , Sharon Vazana , Gavriel Spitzer , Roy Assaf and more. Misan Miso followed an education in dance and acting in theater . In 2015, aged 18 moved to New York City to train as a professional dancer at the Broadway Dance Center where she studied under Nijawwon Matthew and Maleek Washington, then to Los Angeles to further her theatrical training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute where she had her method acting certificate. Had her first jobs with Amy Gardner then with the director “Matthew Michael Carnahan''. In 2020 Misan Miso returned to her homeland and since then she's been in the dance , theater and film industry. took part in Dancing Outside by working with Noa Zuk & Ohad fishof, Orly Portal and Lotem Regev at the Suzanne Dellal Centre and was voted "Best Performer" for her interpretation of a solo by Nur Garabli at the first edition of the 1I2I3 platform. Was the original cast for “Aswat '' by Hisham Suliman produced by the fringe theater ensemble - Nazareth. In 2022 she got an invitation to take part as a choreographer in the second edition of the 1I2I3 platform where it led her to confront her identity , explore her narrative by breaking the restrictions imposed on her by the crisscrossing lines of occupation and society through engaging and researching images of liberation and building a world of creativity in motion where this enabled her to create and tour with her solo (Eleutheromenia), duet (Alqarib) and a trio which was supported by Claire Verlet , made in residency at the CNDC in angers , and premiered January 2024 at Theatre De La Ville - Paris. Nowadays Misan Miso is a co-choreographer in CHE a duet by Nur Grabli as well just finished her residency in Wuppertal working on extending her solo which premiered March 2024 part of the 28th solo tanz theater competition festival - Stuttgart.
